CHRISTINE’ STORY
Christine Cloutier is a French native of Quebec’s Gaspé Peninsula, now based in Kelowna, British Columbia since 2003.
Her creative path began in a home filled with music. Her father—a passionate lead singer and drummer—often rehearsed in the family basement, filling the house with rhythm and song. Immersed in that environment, Christine developed an early love for music and creative expression.
After a personal crisis dimmed her artistic spark during her teenage years, Christine later rediscovered her voice. She performed with a semi-professional gospel choir in Montreal and recorded a single, continuing to seek deeper connection through the arts.
In 2001, a transformative encounter with art therapy opened a new door. Painting became a channel for healing and reflection—an intuitive process that helped her reconnect with emotion and meaning.
By 2008, Christine committed fully to abstract painting. As a self-taught artist, she embraces experimentation, trusting her creative intuition to guide each piece.
Her work is deeply spiritual, rooted in surrender and exploration. Abstract art allows her to release control and make space for something greater—mirroring her personal and faith journey.
Christine invites you to join her on this artistic adventure. Each painting is an invitation to pause, reflect, and rediscover the beauty of the unseen.
