I created it during a moment when I needed to remember—I am loved, I am enough, and I belong.
I chose to paint a Black woman because her radiant smile captured the strength, joy, and beauty of someone who knows who she is.
Her presence reflects the heart of this piece: resting in the truth of what God says about us.
